Pod is rushing around, gathering what frozen animals she can to take to her fire. Without magic of her own, she's resorted to something more mundane, but it seems to be working a little bit, if much slower than the magic she can see the lion wield.
She is quiet for a moment on wandering into the same clearing on her snowshoes, arms full of several small birds, once lively but now solid as ice. "Oh, Aslan! How wonderful."
It is a feeling of not being good enough that comes over her then, hovering more often since her failure to stop the Jabberwock, but she pushes it aside and smiles. She can't be jealous of what she wasn't meant to do. All she can do is what she can. The words still ring a little hollow though.
"I'm so glad you're here. The animals need so much more than I can provide them."
