Pod watches with fascination and wonder, and a few moments too late, wonders if she should follow. But then Lia is coming back with a rabbit and a bird, and she claps her hands in delight.

“Oh Lia, that’s wonderful. Two more helped!”

After a moment she holds her hands out for the two animals and then arranges them by the fire and checks the others. More are starting to get thawed, she can tell, and it lightens her heart to see it.
