"I am certain it will be good. There is no food better than when you are hungry." Lia bows her head a moment. She wonders if she should say grave but she has been praying all day. Surely God understands.

She lifts the bowl to her mouth to take a swallow. Hot, but that feels good down her throat and into her stomach. It's another moment before she realizes Pod isn't filling another dish for herself.

"No, we should share. Or you should eat first." Lia pushes it toward her just a bit. "You have been doing more than I have."
